For an Italian family passionate about show jumping, we had the pleasure of building a fully customised horsebox at Krismar Horse Trucks. From the very beginning, their vision was clear: a horsebox designed to offer maximum comfort for the entire family as well as for their horses, while maintaining the elegant and sporty look that defines the Krismar design.
To make travelling to competitions and training as comfortable as possible, they opted for a double cabin with five seats. This configuration allows the whole family to travel together with ease, offering both comfort and practicality for longer journeys across Europe.
In the horse area, the family chose a breast bar configuration. While this is not the most common setup, it was exactly what suited their horses best. At Krismar, every horsebox is built around the needs of its owner. We listen carefully to our clients and translate their requirements into a fully bespoke horsebox.
They also opted for an extended saddle compartment, giving them a spacious and practical storage area for saddles and equipment. Combined with the roomy driver’s cabin, this ensures that both riders and horses travel with the comfort and functionality needed for competition and training.
When it came to the finishing touches, the owners knew exactly what they wanted. They selected a timeless grey colour, a stylish and practical choice that is both elegant and easy to maintain. This colour scheme was consistently carried through the driver’s cabin and the horse area, creating a harmonious interior that perfectly complements the sporty and distinctive Krismar design.
The result is a horsebox that combines luxury, craftsmanship and functionality, perfectly suited for a family active in the show jumping world.
