Sunday, August 6th – It’s that time of year again when we drive our stunning horse trucks down the beautiful tree-lined drive to our booth. This year, we’re showcasing two of our favorite models: the Krismar 2-horse and the Krismar Professional 6. We’re pleased to inform you that both of these horse trucks are currently available from stock and ready to roll.
Eventing, formerly known as Military due to its military origins, is a discipline within equestrian sports that encompasses various aspects of training. Today, it is more commonly viewed as a triathlon for riders and their horses. A rider must perform a dressage test, a show jumping round, and a cross-country course with the same horse. The combination that accumulates the fewest penalty points across all three phases is declared the winner.
Cross Country is the highlight of the Eventing sport! This phase presents a challenging test of the horse’s speed, stamina, and jumping abilities, as well as the rider’s knowledge and skills. During the Cross Country segment, combinations must navigate natural obstacles such as logs, hedges, water jumps, and changes in terrain. Penalty points are awarded if the horse refuses to jump an obstacle, if the horse jumps outside of the flags, or if the course is completed too quickly or too slowly.
